School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Playgroup 2026

Date: Mondays of the school term excluding staff development days.

Time: 9:00-10:00am

Playgroup at Barkers Vale PS is a free service each Monday of school terms for crawlers to pre-kindy aged children.

For new families, please call 66897202 to register your attendance.

BVPS Market Day 2026

Kindergarten orientation 2026

School swimming and water safety program 2026

Date: Term 4 (dates to be confirmed)

The NSW Department of Education School Swimming Scheme is an intensive learn to swim program, which develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety and survival.

Year 6 Farewell Celebration Dinner 2026

Date: Monday 14 December

Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Students from Gabul will join our Year 6 families and staff for a dinner and disco, as we celebrate and farewell our Year 6 students, wishing them all the best in the years ahead.
